In SlicingDice, we don't put you in strings. If you want, you can retrieve all your data of a database, free of charge.
In your Control Panel, go to the Databases Tab. You'll see all the databases that you have.
In this example, we have only one database, with two columns. We'll use this database in the following steps.
After selecting your database, in the Actions section, click on the reticences that will show more options, and then click on Export Data.
Now that you just selected Export Data, you'll see the following pop-up.
This pop-up will allow you to customize the data that you are exporting. You need to configure three things:
1 - The Dimension that you want to export
You only can export one Dimension at the time, but you can make several Data Export requests.
2 - The Columns that you want to export
You can select all columns of the dimension or select specific columns if you don't want to export everything.
3 - The time range of data that you want to export
You can specify a time range of the data that you want to export. The time range can only receive date values.
In this case, the time range is specific about when the data is registered in the database and is not based on time-series data.
When you configure everything, click on Confirm. You'll receive the following success message.
And that's it! You'll receive an email containing one or more link to download your database data in a CSV format in variable time, that can take a few minutes to several hours, depending on the size of your database. But the time will not be more than 24 hours.
The links sent to your email expires in 7 days. If you don't download them, they'll expire.
