Using the Live Spreadsheet
On this section you'll learn how to use the Live Spreadsheet tool on the Data Exploration & Visualization Module allowing you to visualize your data on a spreadsheet where you can filter it in real time.
Visualizing your data
You can visualize all your stored data for a given database and dimension accessing the Live Spreadsheet tool on the Data Exploration & Visualization Module.
Select the Database and the dimension which you want to visualize the stored data and then you'll be able to check it through the generated spreadsheet as you can see below.
Notice that you can filter the data on this spreadsheet as you want in real time. Check the next section to learn how to apply filters on it.
Filtering your data
After accessing the Live Spreadsheet tool on the Data Exploration & Visualization Module, you're able to explore your data applying filters as you want.
To start filtering your data choose the columns which you want to apply filters and click on the options icon near the column name. There you'll be able to define the filter conditions that you want to apply.
Notice that you have several available options to apply over the spreadsheet you have. Below we describe each one of them.
- Clear column: Remove all values from a given column on the spreadsheet, leaving all its cells empty.
- Alignment: Define the values alignment for a given column on the spreadsheet. It can be left, right, center or justify and also be top, middle or bottom.
- Filter by value: Search for a given pattern on the column values. The results for the patterns you search will be shown below it and you'll be able to check or uncheck it to be shown or not on the spreadsheet.
